For the first time, the exhibition traveled to the tropics, making its debut in Matara, Sri Lanka. It served as the backdrop for an ArtScience workshop with graduate students from various faculties at the University of Ruhuna. The workshop took place in one of the faculty buildings designed by renowned Sri Lankan architect Geoffrey Bawa, whose design harmoniously integrated lush greenery, open spaces, and the coastal breeze with academic life. During the workshop, students created new canvases inspired by and tailored to their island environment. The whole collection is still there, available to creative researchers in Asia.
